Marcellus Now is a local community site for Marcellus Village, Marcellus Township, and nearby neighbors.
The goal is simple: help people stay informed, share useful updates, ask questions, support local businesses, find help, discuss local issues, and stay connected to everyday life in the community.
This includes town updates, missing pets, seasonal events, road issues, school happenings, local recommendations, photos, marketplace-style posts, business updates, public meetings, and anything else that helps neighbors stay connected.
This is not a gossip site, complaint board, or place to attack people. Keep it useful, honest, neighborly, and focused on making Marcellus more informed and connected.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or participate.
Posts should relate to Marcellus, nearby communities, local events, businesses, pets, schools, roads, recommendations, alerts, public issues, seasonal happenings, or community life.
Do not accuse people, businesses, organizations, officials, or groups of crimes, corruption, fraud, misconduct, or unethical behavior unless sharing public, verifiable information responsibly.
No threats, bullying, mocking, stalking, repeated targeting, or public shaming.
No vulgar, sexual, graphic, hateful, or disturbing content.
Do not post someone’s address, phone number, private messages, documents, license plates, medical details, or identifying information without permission.
No repetitive promotion, misleading posts, scams, unrelated ads, or excessive posting. You may be blocked if you don't follow these rules.
Roads, taxes, schools, events, businesses, meetings, policies, and local decisions may be discussed. Keep criticism focused on ideas, actions, and decisions, not personal attacks.
Reports, alerts, map pins, and location-based posts must be factual, honest, and made in good faith. No fake reports, joke pins, misleading locations, exaggerated claims, or unverified accusations.
